                                               Audio Description - The Reality

 I’ve had the training, read the book, taken the photographs, looked at the artworks in detail and am struggling to write an audio description. 

 Why?

 Because I’m approaching it from an academic visual analysis viewpoint. 

Why am I doing that?

I’m exhausted empty and in pain and reverting to what I know best, rather than focus on what I have learnt.

How can I change that?

Go and walk the walk and try and absorb the view points (and some sunshine) in question and see if that helps boost my creativity with the descriptions.

Did it work?

A bit. I’ve made a start but my descriptions are still very academic and stilted.
